We maintain a huge, in-stock inventory of blind threaded studs. When installed, the body of a blind threaded stud collapses on the back (blind) side, giving the fastener a firm grip on the inside of the mounting surface. To calculate “actual L” use this formula: max grip - actual grip + L = “actual L”īlind Threaded Studs for All Applications The height of the stud will increase if it is installed into thinner material. NOTE: The “L” dimension is the height of the installed stud at max grip.
